TroqPay brings its global payments vision to Web Summit Rio 2026
TroqPay presented its global payments vision on the Future of Money track at the Google for Startups-supported Startup Showcase.
In June 2026, TroqPay took the stage at the Web Summit Rio Startup Showcase, supported by Google for Startups. On the Future of Money track, we shared the belief that continues to shape our work: a company's growth should not be limited by payment borders.
Taking that stage was about more than presenting a product. It was an opportunity to bring a Brazilian perspective into a global conversation about the future of money.
TroqPay at the Startup Showcase
Web Summit Rio brought startups, investors, technology companies, and innovation leaders together at Riocentro. The Startup Showcase gave selected companies a platform to present their solutions and the future they are building.
The official Startup Showcase page lists TroqPay among the fintech companies featured in the 2026 edition.
On stage, we showed how local payments and global infrastructure can work together to shorten the distance between a business and its next markets.
The future of money starts with a local experience
Expanding internationally still forces many businesses to coordinate different payment methods, currencies, providers, and processes in every market. That fragmentation takes time away from growth.
TroqPay was built to make this operation simpler. Our goal is to let customers pay in the way they already know while businesses receive and manage their global operation from one platform.
Sell locally. Get paid globally.
That promise captures what we brought to the Future of Money track: financial infrastructure should open markets, not create new borders.
Built in Brazil for global markets
We are a Brazilian company, and we believe where a business starts should not determine how far it can grow.
Presenting TroqPay at Web Summit Rio reinforced that conviction. Brazil has the talent, technology, and real-world experience to build financial products with global relevance. Our responsibility is to turn that capability into an operation that is simple, secure, and useful for businesses.
That means bringing local payments, global money movement, reconciliation, and intelligence together without asking every company to rebuild its financial infrastructure country by country.
A place to validate, listen, and build
Events such as Web Summit Rio create room to test a message, listen to the market, and meet people who see the same challenge from different angles.
The Startup Showcase allowed us to introduce TroqPay, engage with the ecosystem, and strengthen relationships that continue to support our progress.
We thank Web Summit Rio, Google for Startups, and everyone who joined our presentation. We also thank the customers, partners, and team members who turn this vision into a product every day.
We keep building
Joining the Future of Money track was an important milestone for TroqPay, but the most important work happens after the stage.
We continue to build infrastructure that helps businesses turn demand in new markets into sales, with less operational complexity and more control over their next move.
Where a company starts should not determine how far it can grow.
